Facilitated communication involves the physical support of a facilitator, who encourages a nonverbal person to type. Although facilitated communication has been shown to be effective for some autistic children, it is not proven for all children with autism. Some children with autism still require physical assistance when typing. If this is the case, then the child may be better off with another method.

In addition, they should ensure that students take notes and contribute to discussions in an effective manner.

The task can be simple or sophisticated, and all members must contribute to the final product. It may be a Google slide or a simple note. But the process of creating such a product is a critical part of the learning process.
